Zara /// Adelaide Newborn & Family Photographer

I have to say this session was a little bit of a challenge. Zara was about 7 weeks old when these photos were taken and as most people out there know, 7 week olds do not fall asleep as easily as newborns (under 2 weeks old). This is where the patience you need as a photographer kicks in, because even though a session like this takes a bit longer, if you have the patience you will no doubt end up with some amazing photos! And no doubt end up with a lot of laughs as the baby in question pees on a few people during the rudey bum photos!

This was a very fun and exciting shoot for me and I absolutely love the photos I got from this session portraying the love this family has for one another. Here are a few of my favs...

Baking & Face Painting

As of late I've been busy baking some new creations for my other blog Bakerhi. I absolutely LOVE baking and now I'm finding I also LOVE photographing food. Obviously when you photograph a subject you want the person viewing the subject to either understand their feelings or feel something themselves. With food photography I love being able to portray how absolutely yummy food can be and making people almost smell and taste the food just by looking at the photo. Here's a few photos of some of my recent baking creations and also a few of my cute little niece when she had her face painted the other day (so adorable).

I have been very busy lately but I was able to finish editing these photos fairly quickly so I'm quite pleased. It still amazes me how quickly kids grow up! Paul is so cute and so big now I just can't believe it. He has developed such an adorable personality and he has such an infectious laugh. It's obviously not too surprising that being around a cute little toddler makes me clucky! Here's a few of my favourite shots of Paul.

Sneak Peek - Paul /// Adelaide Children's Portait Photographer

Yesterday we went to visit Tom's cousin Amy and her husband Joe and I had the opportunity to photograph their little boy Paul. He is so adorable! I'm so glad I had the chance to photograph this cute and cheeky boy he was such a crack up, especially when he lays on top of a whoopie cushion to make it fart! Sooo hilarious and cute! New Layout New Photos

I've been rather busy that last few days. I finished my last legal case study assignment finally! AND I've been busy revamping my blog with a new logo title (I hope you like it!) Plus now I have been editing a few photos of my niece to add on here, these photos are from a while ago now and I completely forgot about them until the other day and decided to get straight into the editing process. So once again a very busy last couple of days for me, but the fun doesn't stop there! The next few says are going to be quite busy also, I have a portrait shoot set up for tomorrow (more photos to come soon) plus I'm going to see WICKED with my fiance this weekend and I'm SOOOOO excited!! Plus a few birthday celebrations including cocktails for a friend on Saturday night and a big dinner for my mum's birthday on Sunday (lots of cooking and baking for me to do, maybe I'll add some photos from that too!)

 I love how in this photo she has such a great expression in her face as she's trying her hardest to push her toy car instead of just simply driving it! So cute!
